IP addresses

Location Data

The offer of coopz GmbH includes so-called location-based services, with which the user is presented with special offers tailored to the respective location. We use payment providers (eg Apple, Google, PayPal) to process payments. What authorization does our app need?

How long do we save?

We save your information as long as you are a registered user of the coopz app. In addition, we only store data if required by law (due to warranty, statute of limitations or retention periods) or otherwise.

If the storage purpose is omitted or if a storage period prescribed by the European directives and regulations or any other relevant legislator expires, the personal data will be routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.

We store location data for up to 14 days. The legal basis for this processing of personal data is Art. 6 I lit. b) or f) EU-GDPR.

How safe is my data?

We take all reasonable technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of the app, the data transmission and our servers (technical data protection). In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, as well as to ensure the accuracy of the data and the legitimate use of the data, we have established appropriate technical and organizational procedures to safeguard and protect the data collected by the coopz App.

The transmission of data to our server backend takes place via a secure TLS / SSL encryption through the use of an

Which rights do you have?

Children’s Privacy

Our Service allows parents to keep track of their children’s location on mobile devices that the Parent has sent a parent request.

The child will then be able to participate on coopz as a teenager mode user (under 18). The child’s personal information, including name, user name, email, and location, will be shared with other coopz users which must exist also on the device contact list. It is not possible for a coopz user to contact with a teenager mode user if he doesn't exist on the child's device contact list. coopz may collect, use, disclose, and store the child’s personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.
